F1 2013 – F1 2014 rule changes

The FIA have announced a number of rule changes for the formula one 2014 season.Double points will now be awarded at the last race of the season – the hope is that this will keep viewing figures alive into the final race of the season, had this system been in place during 2012, Fernando Alonso would of beaten Sebastian Vettel to become a three time world champion.Drivers will be given permanent numbers – a return to the period of Nigel Mansell and “red 5”, the permanent numbers allow drivers to market their selves around these numbers and become synonymous with them.A cost cap to reduce spending which will come into action January 2015 – to help secure the future of formula one...
