Friday practice conditions were 'difficult' – Maldonado

Pastor Maldonado says driving conditions during the two Friday practice sessions ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix were very 'difficult'. Teams and drivers completed limited running due to rain showers that passed over the Interlagos circuit throughout the day. With just three sets of full wet tyres and four sets of intermediate Pirelli rubber at their disposal, saving tyres for Saturday and Sunday also stopped drivers from taking to the track. Maldonado finished the first session in 17th before moving up to 13th in the afternoon session. However, he only managed to complete a total of 36 laps over the two 90 minute sessions.
