Button baffled by lack of qualifying pace
McLaren hoped for a strong qualifying session, and with Sergio Perez this turned out pretty was as he set the 7th fastest time. Jenson Button on the other hand was baffled by the lack of pace during qualifying after going strong in the free practice sessions.
Sergio Perez, MP4-28A-03, 7th, 1m37.452s (on Options): “Obviously, I’m very pleased, but, when you’re so close to the cars in front, you still want to improve.
