Maldonado annoyed with Williams
Pastor Maldonado stopped short of accusing Williams of favouritism after suffering contrasting fortunes to his team-mate in qualifying.
Although both drivers were reportedly on the same set-up, they found themselves on either end of the grid for the United States GP.
While Maldonado struggled on Saturday afternoon, finishing P18, Bottas stormed into the final qualifying segment where he put his Williams up into ninth place.
The Venezuelan driver's woes come in the wake of confirmation that he will be leaving Williams at the end of this season.
