Perez willing to look outside F1
Outgoing McLaren driver Sergio Perez has revealed that he is considering racing outside of Formula One in 2014.
The Mexican announced on Twitter earlier this week that he would be leaving the Woking team after just one season, but admitted that McLaren's decision to drop him in favour of the 21-year-old Dane Kevin Magnussen has left him in a "difficult" position.
"If I'm very honest I haven't had the chance yet to get fully into that [McLaren's reasoning]. The decision was taken very late which unfortunately puts me in a difficult position for my future," the 23-year-old told Sky Sports ahead of this weekend's US Grand Prix.
