Kubica: Returning to F1 'nearly impossible'

Robert Kubica has admitted that his 'dream' of returning to the wheel of a Formula 1 car would be 'nearly impossible' at the moment. The Polish driver is still recovering from a rally crash in February 2011 that partially severed his right hand and left him with compound fractures to his right elbow, shoulder and leg. The injuries forced him to put his F1 career on hold. However, he has since returned to rallying and won the WRC2 title last month. Kubica made his Formula 1 debut in 2006, replacing Jacques Villeneuve at BMW Sauber mid-way through the season.
