Friday analysis - more grip to come from Yas Marina Circuit
There were several off-track incidents in FP1 in Abu Dhabi as the Yas Marina track stayed very green despite GP2 and GP3 practice beforehand, and steadfastly refused to rubber in. Things were slightly better in the afternoon session, when the difference between the medium and soft Pirellis was around 1.5s per lap.
