Pirelli disappointed by ignored recommendations
Prior to the Indian Grand Prix, Pirelli warned teams not to complete stints on the two nominated tyre compounds for longer than their recommendations. They advised teams to not complete more than 15 laps on the soft and 35 laps on the medium compounds. Much to Pirelli's disappointment, those recommendations were ignored by several teams. Adrian Sutil completed the most laps on the soft tyre, 19, and Raikkonen completed an impressive 51 lap stint on the primes.
