Tost: Kvyat has all the 'basic qualities'
Toro Rosso team principal Franz Tost believes Daniil Kvyat has all the ‘basic qualities’ needed to succeed at the pinnacle of the sport. The decision to promote the Russian was confirmed last night and it was something of a surprise as fellow Red Bull junior driver António Félix da Costa had been the favourite to replace the Red Bull-bound Daniel Ricciardo.
