Fernley slams F1 Strategy Group as “unethical” and “undemocratic”

Force India’s Deputy Team Principal Bob Fernley has come out strongly in opposition to the F1 Strategy Group, citing it as an example of the “unethical” and “undemocratic” way that Formula One is currently being run. Fernley has called into account the groups legality, arguing that it is neither fair nor equitable. The Formula One Strategy Group, which effectively replaces the Sporting and Technical Working Group, and is due to hold its inaugural meeting on Monday at Biggin Hill, has been born from the unilateral agreement between the FIA and the commercial rights holders CVC and their representative Bernie Ecclestone.
