Formula 1 trophy on display at Ascot
The Formula 1 Drivers' Championship trophy will be showcased at Ascot Racecourse this weekend, as part of a one-day public display worth over one million pounds. Coinciding with horseracing's 'British Champions Day', the Formula 1 prize will join a variety of items, including the Senior TT Trophy, the Jules Rimet 1966 Football World Cup, the Ashes urn, the Ryder Cup and the World Snooker Championship Trophy. Sebastian Vettel can secure the crown for a fourth successive year at next weekend's Indian Grand Prix. He leads Fernando Alonso by 90 points, with 100 still available.
