Vettel runs away with Singapore victory

Sebastian Vettel further extended his championship lead with a runaway victory in Singapore which only came to trouble at the start when he temporarily lost the lead to Nico Rosberg. The Red Bull driver dominated the field, often lapping two seconds quicker. His lead would have been far greater had it not been for a mid-race safety car for Daniel Ricciardo's accident. Fernando Alonso came from seventh to finish second ahead of Kimi Raikkonen who, despite back pain, fought from 12th on the grid.
