Alonso seeks deal extension
Just days after renewing his vows with Ferrari, Fernando Alonso has revealed he wants to sign a new multi-year contract with the Scuderia.Rejecting the opportunity of a return to McLaren after Martin Whitmarsh, the team's boss, went public with his wish to re-sign the Spaniard, Alonso insisted on Thursday that he will still be at Ferrari next year despite the appointment of Kimi Raikkonen as Felipe Massa's replacement.
