Hamilton sets sights on podium finish

Although a below-par qualifying performance has left him on the third row of the grid, Lewis Hamilton is hopeful of achieving a podium finish in the Singapore Grand Prix. The Mercedes driver, who will line up alongside Ferrari's Felipe Massa in fifth position, has struggled for pace since topping the first practice session on Friday, lapping three tenths slower than second-placed team-mate Nico Rosberg in the shootout phase. But despite his troubles, the former World Champion is hopeful of making a recovery.
