Alonso sends Massa best wishes
Fernando Alonso has wished outgoing Ferrari team-mate well for future years after the Brazilian's announcement that he is to leave the outfit at the end of the season. Following weeks of speculation, Massa confirmed his anticipated departure from the Maranello-based squad on Tuesday, bringing to an end an eight-year partnership, four of which have been spent racing alongside two-time World Champion Alonso. And reflecting on their time together at the Italian marque, Alonso said he is certain the 32-year-old will be "a strong opponent" if he secures a drive with a rival team.
