Sauber: Monza proof we've made step

Nico Hülkenberg's fifth place finish in the Italian Grand Prix proves Sauber has made a step forward with the development of its car, team principal, Monisha Kaltenborn has said. The Swiss-based outfit has had a difficult year on – and off – the circuit and prior to the event at Monza, had scored only seven points, with Hülkenberg’s eighth place in Malaysia the highlight. The twelfth round in the 2013 F1 World Championship, however, went better than the team could have imagined, and after qualifying in third place, Hülkenberg made the most of it to score ten points and finish ‘best of the rest’ after the two Red Bulls and the two Ferraris. “We are happy about such a great...
