Sutil receives 3 place grid drop for impeding Hamilton

MONZA, September 7th, 2013 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Adrian Sutil has received a three place grid drop for tomorrow’s Italian Grand Prix after the stewards decided he had impeded Lewis Hamilton during qualifying. Both Sutil and Hamilton were called to speak to the stewards, who then reviewed the evidence and came to the conclusion that Sutil had impeded Hamilton, though not intentionally. "The Stewards determined the impeding was not intentional however it is the responsibility of the driver to be aware of the approaching car," the official statement read.
