Kovalainen won't change stance for 2014 drive

Heikki Kovalainen has said that he will not change his stance over bringing money to Formula 1 teams, even if it means that he misses out on a race drive for 2014. The Finn previously drove for Renault and McLaren before moving to Caterham in 2010. He was dropped by the team for the 2013 season in favour of drivers with financial backing behind them. He has continued his relationship with Caterham in a development role, driving the car in two free practice sessions so far. He is eager to get behind the wheel full time, however he is determined to do so without having to turn to ‘pay driver' tactics.
