Alonso keen for answers over tyre issues
Fernando Alonso says "careful analysis" is needed after the Ferrari driver and Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel suffered punctures during Friday practice in Belgium. The Spaniard, who ended the day seventh fastest, suffered a slow delamination in the afternoon session, while championship leader Vettel was forced to crawl back to the pit lane after his right-rear tyre gave way on the exit of the high speed Stavelot corner. In addition, Giedo van der Garde slid into the barriers after a peculiar crash at the same spot that Vettel suffered his issue, an incident being linked to Pirelli's tyres.
