Tilke '100 percent sure' Sochi will be ready

Hermann Tilke says he is '100 percent sure' that construction of the Sochi circuit, venue for the inaugural Russian Grand Prix in 2014, will be finished on time. Following confirmation that the track missed the formal race application deadline for inclusion in next year's Formula 1 calendar, Tilke has moved to ease any fears over his project responsibilities, which revolve around the design and build phases. "I am 100 percent sure that the track in Sochi will be ready," Tilke explained to Russian website Championat. "Nothing else is in my area of responsibility. The track will be constructed on time."
