Montezemolo: Massa has our total confidence

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has said he has total confidence in Felipe Massa despite the Brazilian’s recent woes. Massa started the season pretty strongly and took third place in the Spanish Grand Prix back in May. However since then he has only scored twelve points and embarrassingly he spun out on the fourth lap in Germany last weekend, stalling his F138 and thus retiring on the spot. It was his second retirement in four races and to date he has scored just 57 points - less than half of that of team-mate, Fernando Alonso, who is on 123 points and who is second in the Drivers’ Championship. “Felipe is fully aware he can count on our total confidence in him,” Montezemolo...
