Kimi: Third stop probably unnecessary

Kimi Raikkonen believes he may well have made it to the end of the German Grand Prix without a third stop. The Lotus driver was leading at the Nurburgring with just over 10 laps still to go, but the team told him to box for a third and final time as they switched to soft tyres. The late visit to the pits saw him drop to third place behind Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel and Romain Grosjean, but he managed to overtake his Lotus team-mate Grosjean with only five laps to go. He then went charging after Vettel, but he couldn't quite catch the German and had to settle for second place. Raikkonen, though, feels he may not have needed the final stop.
