Rosberg remains cautious over tyre wear
Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg says there is still a "question mark" over his team's ability to manage tyre degradation after the opening day of practice at Silverstone, with the German wary of the predicted rise in temperature as the weekend progresses. Having topped the timesheets during the much drier second session, Rosberg is confident that the outfit will be able to deliver another strong qualifying performance, but is not willing to make long-run predictions until the track conditions settle.
