'Mercedes acted in good faith'- FIA

Testing with Pirelli did gave Mercedes an 'unfair advantage' but both parties 'acted in good faith', the FIA stated on Friday. The team was banned from the Young Drivers Test and got a reprimande, after the hearing in Paris. "Neither Pirelli nor Mercedes acted in bad faith at any material time", the FIA stated. "Both Pirelli and Mercedes disclosed to FIA at least the essence of what they intended to do in relation to the test and attempted to obtain permission for it; and Mercedes had no reason to believe that approval had not been given."
