Bottas hopes Canada proved a point

Valtteri Bottas says he hopes he was able to prove a point with his performance in the Canadian Grand Prix, despite once again failing to open his account in Montreal.The Finn produced one of the star performances of the season so far in qualifying to line up third on the grid after a session held in challenging weather conditions.Come race day, Bottas was unable to maintain that position as he slipped down the field, but he said he was hopeful that his qualifying display had shown what he can do."Let's hope this continues,” he told MTV3 when asked if he hope to remain with the team despite its recent struggles. “There's no point thinking about it too much.
