Vettel confident of fighting for victory

Reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel is optimistic that he will still be able to fight for victory during Sunday afternoon’s Monaco Grand Prix, despite the well-known difficulties that come with starting further down the order in the principality. The Red Bull driver, who heads the second row of the grid alongside team-mate Mark Webber, says he could have performed much better on his final lap in the top ten shootout, but is adamant that he will have the opportunity to make amends tomorrow. "It was very close," said Vettel. "Mercedes have been very quick all weekend. I don’t want it to sound like an excuse, but there was a tenth missing and I think I had that today....
