Rosberg top at crash-heavy Monaco

Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg set a scintillating pace in an incident-packed final practice session at the Monaco Grand Prix. The German, a hot favourite to secure pole later on Saturday, was 0.661 seconds faster than Lotus's Romain Grosjean, who ended his session with a crash. Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel was third, after aborting a lap that would have taken him close to Rosberg because of traffic. Ferrari's Fernando Alonso was fourth but did not complete a lap on the fastest tyres. Grosjean's crash right at the end of the session was a virtual carbon-copy of a similar accident in second practice on Thursday and his second in just one session on Saturday morning.
