Qualifying analysis - will Mercedes carry their form into the race?

Tyre conservation is still the name of the game in Spain, and many drivers were mindful of the need to save rubber for the race. Thus while Mercedes’ polesitter Nico Rosberg and the Ferrari and Lotus drivers made two runs, Lewis Hamilton, the Red Bull drivers, Sergio Perez and Paul di Resta made do with only one.
