Jonathan Wheatley departs Audi as management structure shifts
The Audi Revolut F1 Team has announced a significant change in its leadership structure, confirming that Jonathan Wheatley has left the organization with immediate effect due to personal reasons. The decision marks the end of Wheatley’s tenure just under a year after he joined the Audi F1 Project in April 2025. Wheatley played a central role in building up the new Formula 1 operation at the team’s Hinwil base in Switzerland. Working alongside Mattia Binotto, he helped shape the structure and performance direction of the team that made an impressive debut by scoring points in early March.
