Those who weren't watching Sunday’s Chinese Grand Prix with their heart in their, weren't watching the same race as George Russell. While the Mercedes and Ferrari machines danced a high-stakes tango around the Shanghai International Circuit, the Mercedes man found himself with a front-row seat to a tense wheel-to-wheel battle that looked destined to end in a shower of carbon fiber.
