Sutil denies fraud allegations, lawyer claims he’s a victim

Intrigue is swirling around Adrian Sutil after Grand Prix driver was arrested in Germany on suspicions of fraud and embezzlement. Now, with speculation accelerating as fast as any of his on-track battles, Sutil has issued a firm rebuttal through his lawyer, Dirk Schmitz – insisting he has caused no financial harm and suggesting he himself may be the victim of a far larger scheme. According to early reports, Sutil is being held in pre-trial detention in Baden-Württemberg, accused of “aggravated joint fraud and joint embezzlement” linked to international business...
