F1: Stella sheds light on Las Vegas issues
Andrea Stella has given further insight into the various issues that compromised McLaren in Las Vegas, not least the double disqualification. Other than the plank wear which got Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris disqualified - caused mainly it is claimed by porpoising - the McLarens lacked pace, while Jos Verstappen has questioned the set-up on the Australian's car. Asked about the specific issue that caused the wear to the plank that saw his drivers disqualified, Stella responds: 'The specific cause that led to the situation was the unexpected occurrence of extensive porpoising, inducing large vertical oscillations of the car.
