F1: Las Vegas Grand Prix: Qualifying team notes - Ferrari
In very tricky conditions Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton qualified 9th and 20th respectively. FP3: In this session, all the teams, including the Scuderia were keen to catch up on their long-run work, as they had been unable to acquire sufficient reference data when yesterday's final session was twice red-flagged because of an issue with a manhole cover. The track was too wet for slicks at the start, so all twenty drivers went out on Intermediates. The low temperatures meant the track was very slow to dry, remaining damp and greasy and therefore slippery, especially off the racing line, causing most drivers to have a few moments. Everyone switched to Softs halfway through the session....
